The Mayor and City Council created the Neighborhood Development Center (NDC) to educate and assist future, new, and existing community leaders with their organizing efforts.  Mayor Gonzales is committed to assisting up and coming neighborhood groups, leaders,  and associations.  One of the main ways to build strong neighborhoods is to ensure the success and sustainability of them.  The NDC is a one-stop neighborhood shop that provides neighborhood organizing and mobilization services to all San José communities.
