Mayor Gonzales is pictured with Councilmember Ken Yeager and Fire Chief Jeff Clet at the Ribbon Cutting of Fire Station 4 on Friday, August 6, 2004.  The station was upgraded with funds from Measure O.  The upgrades greatly improved the working environment for our firefighters and help to provide the City with essential service facilities that will better serve the public.

Mayor Gonzales said, "This project is the first fire station remodeling to be completed as a result of the Public Safety Bonds that San Jose voters overwhelmingly approved in 2002.  Our community clearly recognizes the important role of our fire fighters and fire stations to keep our families, children and seniors safe."
