Gonzales participated in
the weekend kick-off news
conference to announce
that San Jose's first Rock
'n' Roll Half Marathon is
ready to go! The event is
anticipating a turnout of
15,000 runners and walkers
and more than 50,000
spectators. This cool
event features live bands
and cheer squads at every
mile and finishes up with
a post-race party and
concert featuring the
group TRAIN at the HP
Pavilion.

walk and even dance
through downtown San Jose
this Sunday!! We are
proud to host America's
premier half marathon and
to be a partner with
another world-class
sporting event in our
community. I extend
