Mayor Ron Gonzales spoke at the Grand Opening of Pericom Semiconductors in San Jose, on Monday, March 29, 2004.  Since its inception in 1990, Pericom Semiconductor has been a leading supplier of high-performance interface Integrated Circuits.

Pericom's recent expansion plans included relocating from their previous place of business in North San Jose to a larger headquarters facility on North First Street.  They opened their new 53,000 square foot facility on January 5, 2004.
