On Saturday, June 19,  Mayor Gonzales joined Downtown College Prep's first graduating class at their graduation ceremony.  Downtown College Prep was established in 1999 and have focused on preparing underachieving students to be ready for success in college.  The school successfully achieved its goal as 92% of seniors were accepted to at least one four-year university.
