Gonzales was joined by
thousands of residents,
visitors and fans who
showed up for the San Jose
finish of the Amgen Tour
of California on Tuesday,
February 21, 2006.
San Jose is
the only city to host the
race for two consecutive
days. The Mayor
presented the first place
award to George Hincapie
who finished the second
stage of the 600 mile race
in four hours, one minute
and twenty-six seconds.
