Mayor  Gonzales spoke at the Camera Cinemas Groundbreaking on Monday, April 26, 2004.  The event was a kick off for the construction at the old United Artist theater in downtown that will become the new location of the Camera 12 Theaters.  The project features 12 state-of the art movie theaters on three levels.

The Mayor said, "It is exciting to add the new Camera 12 Theaters to our list of upcoming attractions - and it is a long list!  We need a first-class movie theater in the heart of our downtown and I am delighted that we have strong San Jose business that is making this happen."
