Mayor Gonzales is pictured at the 6th Annual Gala Fundraiser
held by the Support Network for Battered Women.  The
fundraiser was held at the Glen Restaurant in Willow Glen
on Wednesday evening, May 14, 2003.

Pictures at the event - The mission of the Support Network
for Battered Women is to empower battered women and
their children to rebuild their lives free of violence,
and to end domestic violence in our society.

to battered women and their children including a 24-hour
toll-free crisis line, support groups, counseling, legal assistance,
residential shelter, children's programs and community education.

The fundraiser included a silent auction with a signed baseball
by Oakland A's Pitcher Barry Zito, casino games and
a billiard tournament all helped to raise money.
