Mayor Gonzales with Councilmember Cindy Chavez at
the 6th and Williams Park Fundraiser on Thursday evening
May 29, 2003, at the San Jose Convention Center.
$700,000 in labor and materials have already been donated
 by Kent Gordon England, a local landscape architect
to help turn the land into a showcase children's park.

Mayor Gonzales spoke at the fundraiser, "This park would
make a huge difference to the families in this area.  It will
bring neighbors together and give their children a save place
to play...our kids will have a chance to be kids."

in the amount of $5,000 from DMG World Media!!
