at the Marriott Hotel Grand Opening on Thursday, May 8,
at the Crowne Plaza in downtown San Jose.
The Mayor spoke at the event, welcoming
the Marriott and the Arcadia Restaurant and
thanking them for supporting San Jose's
downtown arts; culture; businesses and restaurants.

The San Jose Marriott offers 21,000 square feet of function space;
506 guest rooms; 28 suites; a complete health and fitness center and
a new restaurant called Arcadia Restaurant.  Pictured above is
the Executive Chef Michael Mina speaking with the Mayor.

The Mayor takes a tour of the Arcadia Restaurant and
the wine selection is definitely in order!
