Mayor Gonzales on the radio with Mix 106.5 KEZR's
morning show "The Bill and Marla Show" with
Bill Kelly and Marla Davies on Friday morning,
May 9, 2003.  The radio station did a satellite
program to promote the effort that Mayor Gonzales
began to support the families of our troops.

The program was run from Fire Station #1 on Market
Street in downtown San Jose.  The Mayor spoke to
listeners telling them that in San Jose alone there
are over 200 families who have family members in
the National Guard and Military Reserves who
were deployed to serve in Iraq.
