Mayor Ron Gonzales went to the International Computer Trade Show
on Monday evening, March 24.  The show was for JEDEX
which is a non-profit organization with over 300 members
worldwide that sets computer industry standards.

The Mayor spoke at the event saying, "I know many of you
have traveled from other parts of the country and the world to be
at this important conference...as the first Mayor in San Jose
with a high-tech background, I have an appreciation for how
important computer standards are for the semiconductor
and high-tech community worldwide."
