on Wednesday, June 25, 2003.  What a great day to open- it was
a mere 90 degrees on this sunny summer afternoon!!

The Fair Swim Center is approximately 3 1/2 acres
 in size and is located in San Jose's District 7. 
Construction began in February 2002.

People prepare to jump in and cool off!  The facility includes
children, family and lap pools, a pool house with offices,
restrooms, a food service area, first aid station and a classroom.
