Mayor Gonzales attended the Dr. Roberto B. Cruz Memorial
Annual Science Fair on Friday morning, March 7, 2003.
This was the second annual National Hispanic Universities
Latino College Academy science fair, and the first
to honor the late Dr. Roberto Cruz.

Mayor Gonzales spoke at the event saying,
"I congratulate all of the students for participating in this
year's science fair...I am proud of what I see here today.
I see our future engineers, scientists, and physicists who will
be inventing the future here in San Jose and Silicon Valley."
