Mayor Gonzales spoke at the 19th Annual Blue and Gold
Wounded in Service Award Ceremony on Friday, February 28.
The ceremony congratulates officers that go well above
and beyond the call of duty, showing exceptional
courage and altruism while in the line of duty.

Mayor Gonzales and Police Chief Lansdowne Present
San Jose Police Officer Enrique Marquez with a
commendation for bravery during the ceremony.
The Officer received the award for courage
and valor in the face of extreme danger.

The Mayor and Chief speak to Sarah and Samantha Maciel,
two seniors from Santa Teresa High School
 that shadowed our Mayor for the afternoon.
