Mayor Gonzales joined in the community clean-up in the
Burbank - Del Monte area of District 6 on Saturday morning,
November 23, 2002.  This was a clean-up hosted 
through the Strong Neighborhoods Initiative to keep
the area attracted and well maintained for residents.

The Mayor takes off a glove to shake the hands
of some residents and say hello to this little one

debris in the street as the bins fill-up in the background

These residents cart and carry garbage to one of the bins.
As always in the neighborhood clean-up there are designated
bins for recyclables, appliances and refuse.

Here is one of the larger appliances being rolled into
the bin.  Many wonderful people volunteered and helped
assist in making this clean-up a huge success!!
