Mayor
Ron Gonzales joined volunteers to take part in
the First Annual Anti-Litter dinner on Monday, December 16,
2002 at Lou's Village in San Jose. The Mayor congratulated
many of the wonderful volunteers who donate their energy
and time to keep San Jose graffiti free for it's residents.
The Mayor is pictured above with Stan Ochs and his beautiful
wife as he accepts a "Volunteer of the Year" award.

The
Mayor awarded Aaron Resendez with
an Outstanding Volunteer Award at the dinner.

The Mayor spoke to the many guests saying "We have nearly
1,500 volunteers so far - an increase of more than
1000 since the spring!...but the real reason for our success
is because of volunteers like all of you here tonight."
