Mayor Gonzales spoke at the Anti-Graffiti Dinner held
at Palermo's Restaurant on December 9, 2002, in honor
of the many volunteers that donate time to the program.
This was the fourth annual dinner in recognition
of the volunteers whose hard work has brought
much success to the Anti-Graffiti program.

spoke to the audience saying, "Wiping out graffiti is more than
eliminating an eyesore.  It's about making and keeping San Jose
the safest big city in the nation - a title I am very
proud of and one I intend for us to keep!!"
