The
"Walk A Mile in Her Shoes" Men's March to Stop
Rape took place on Saturday, April 26, 2003. The walk
was part of numerous statewide events in recognition
of sexual assault survivors and their loved ones. The main
"feeture" of this campaign was a request that men
literally marched a mile in women's shoes to symbolically
experience what women experience on a daily basis.

The
event began at 10:00 a.m. at the Cesar Chavez Park
and volunteers marched to the YWCA on South Third Street.
