Mayor Ron Gonzales spoke at the Commercial Real Estate
Women's Conference on Monday, May 5, 2003.  The event
was held at the Hyatt Hotel in downtown San Jose.  The Mayor
gave a speech to the hundreds of people attending.

Many people turned out for the conference and listened to
the Mayor speak.  Mayor Gonzales said, "Despite the downturn
in the economy, San Jose is still moving forward...we need to
do all we can to show the business world that San Jose is
an excellent place for innovation and business growth."
