The networking center is approximately 1200 square feet
in size and a place where teachers can come to use
equipment, share ideas and get support from other teachers.
The room is called the "Green Room" based on the
holding room for actors in the world of state performance.
The room was made possible by a federal grand
and funds donated by National Semiconductor.

The Mayor spoke at the event, "RAFT is a great
resource for teachers.  They can get creative learning materials,
good equipment at a good price and new curriculum
ideas to use in the classroom.  And from this "Green Room"
teachers can go out to their "stage" inside the
classroom ready to inspire their students!"
