Mayor Gonzales went to the Luther Burbank School
on Tuesday morning, September 2, 2003.  The school had
a "Back to School" assembly to celebrate the beginning
of another school year for students and teachers!!

The Mayor is joined by Councilmember Ken Yeager and
Bello the clown from Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey
circus as they present a check for 1,000 tickets to the school.
The Mayor spoke to the crowd saying, "Welcome back to school
everyone!!...I love the first day of school, a new start, new friends,
new things to learn....I want you to work hard do your best and
learn all you can this year so you can achieve your dreams."
